MUSIC
EVERY NIGHT IS MUSIC NIGHT!
Aziz Ibrahim
BILLY THOMPSON GYPSY STYLE
Billy and his band are voted back again and again. Billy one of the best gypsy swing afficianados in the UK. His music is pure pleasure. Billy is back!
TOM HILL'S 70'S JAZZ FUNK MACHINE
And if you like jazz you will love Tom and his band members, all professional musicians of the highest calibre. They give an unmistakable beat which oozes quality.
AZIZ IBRAHIM
Aziz plays every year. Why? Because he's one of the finest rock guitarists you will have ever heard. Ex Marillion, ex Stone-Roses, ex song writer with Ian Brown, the man is sensational and we love him to bits.
TACKLA
Another perennial. Tegid brings his band to MACH and you will get the full flavour of Welshness with an edge. One of the finest Welsh bands I know about and we defo look around. Love them, quirkly. You'll find them on the small bar stage. Super!
BIG JOE BONE
Big Joe is a favourite of MACH go-ers. He's a one man band, he's a force of solidly good music.
THE HICKSTERS
The Hicksters formed in the summer of 2014 when a group of Aberystwyth musicians came together at the last minute as a scratch band for local music venue Rummers Bar. Inspired by, and paying tribute to artists from the worlds of country, rock, blues and folk, their repertoire is wide ranging and truly eclectic; from Irish jigs and reels, through bluegrass and country to 70s Southern rock. 4 part vocal harmonies, fiddle, guitars, bass and drums ensure a depth of soundscape and arrangement that makes you dance and sing your heart out with them.
SUNSHINE JAZZ BAND
Local musician Phil Wheeler has been bringing music to Machynlleth for over 30 years and has fronted many bands. He is a local 'Mr Music'. Here he is with his colleagues from his Sunshine Jazz Band to start our Friday afternoon tea party on the lawn. Prosecco anyone...Enjoy!
PISTOL PETE WEARN
Pete brings his band collegue Olly Parry on fiddle so we're in for a different sound for MACH 23. Pete has been with us from the start and if we're lucky, we'll get a 'musical sound-off' with Pete's mate Big Joe. Just like the old days!
